Craig Crawford is currently CEO of 3-D ImageTek Corporation. He is a professional with senior management skills and experience covering a broad base of products and technologies, including 3D video electronics, robotics, imaging, artificial vision, software design, automated test equipment, and large systems computer products. While managing product design, new technology review and adaptation, operations, sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing of advanced imaging and stereoscopic 3D video products and components, the company has brought several new products from concept to market with minimum investment. Worldwide markets currently include: Medical, Defense & Security, Oil & Gas, Education, Unmanned Vehicles, Port Crane-Vision, Telecommunications (Tele-Medicine, Tele-Education, Remote Training.) Responsibilities also included providing and integrating the 3DI products and technologies which were necessary for the first successful Satellite Broadcast of a live Robotic Surgical Procedure (broadcast from Cornell University, New York to a Surgical Conference in Anaheim, CA.) 3DI products have now shipped to over 20 nations worldwide.

Earlier, Craig was brought in by CR Technologies, Inc. to help turn-around an unprofitable robotics-vision company. During his years with the company, he helped develop new markets, increase profit margins, phase out old products and technology, and successfully introduce new products. The company was later sold for $125 Million.

Prior to that, Craig was the Area and Major Accounts Manager for Automatix Inc., and was a member of the sales and marketing team which increased revenues of this robotics/machine vision company from ≈ $500,000 to $26,000,000 while preparing for a successful IPO. The Company was later acquired by Robotic Vision Systems, Inc.

As an invited speaker, Craig Crawford has presented a number of papers-talks to a variety of technical conferences, universities, and industry groups.

Craig is a graduate of the University of Arizona.
